Miguel E. Baena, was born in New Jersey, but has called Miami home his entire life. Over the past three decades, Miguel has worked on nearly every aspect of construction for a variety of clients and project types earning him a respectable reputation for his professionalism, diverse knowledge of the business and successful building history.
Mr. Baena began his construction career with Concrete & Lumber Enterprises, Corp. and later worked for Glen Construction Company of South Florida, Cogefar-Impresit U.S.A. and Miller & Solomon General Contractors, holding various positions from Field Laborer to Executive VP at Miller & Solomon, for their Special Projects Division. Miguel has been involved close to two billion dollars of construction volume over his 30 plus year career, including retail centers, multi-family, office buildings, luxury condominiums, medical facilities and special purpose structures as well as custom residences and commercial and residential interior build-outs. For the past two decades, Miguel has lead South Pointe Construction & Development, Co., a Miami based construction company that he founded. Miguel will now join forces once again with Nelson Stablie to lead the lntegra Build team and oversees all the companies construction operations.
Mr. Baena graduated with honors from Florida International University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management (1990) and from Nova Southeastern University where he earned a Master’s in Business Administration (1997). Miguel holds a Florida licensed General Contractor and Real Estate Salesman License and has been a member of several local construction trade organizations over the years; Latin Builders Association (LBA), Construction Association of South Florica (CASF) and U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
